Who We Are

Brush Arbor Press was started by Terri Pease, Ph.D. and Reverend Deborah E. Lake in 1999.

Terri Pease has more than 30 years of experience in helping social service agencies and their managers to make use of new knowledge in other fields to improve the outcomes for their clients and constituents. 

Deborah Lake has more than 20 years of experience in teaching how to address the pain and oppression that comes with homophobia, racism, and misogyny. She is an author, activist, and talk radio host who is dedicated to empowering herself and others to live life to its fullest.
